2015

This is where I was really trying to figure out my art style. I wanted to draw in a manga style like Mark Crilley, but I also wanted that more western, disney-esque style that a lot of popular artists on tumblr were doing at the time. There's a lot of experimentation in this sketchbook, and my love for character design is still prevalent. In terms of aesthetic taste I was still kinda emo, but also drifting towards pastel goth and steampunk. Also Electra Heart by Marina and the Diamonds became the new album I based my whole personality on for 2015.

Pekoe was my absolute favorite villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

An attempt at making a little sona for myself, it didn't really stick. Those tights she's wearing were from spirit halloween and they had all these cool circular holes in them and I'd wear them with shorts and feel so cool.
